JLL assists IRET with the rental of +/- 10,000 m² to the Wallonia-Brussels Federation

In 2018, the Federation Wallonia-Brussels decided to centralize some of their services in Brussels in one building.

The mission was to identify a building of approximately 10,000 m², as close as possible to the central services on Scaintelette Square. There was also a request that the development works for the Federation Wallonia-Brussels would be carried out by the future owner.

JLL identified the building "Havenlaan 16" as a possible option. "Havenlaan 16" is located in the North Quarter of Brussels, on 500 m² of Scaintelette Square. The 'Tour & Taxis' site is also within walking distance, offering a wide range of services.

JLL worked together with IRET (the owner) and Tetris on "Havenlaan 16" for a solution and managed to sign an 18-year contract. In 2019, the Wallonia-Brussels Federation put this turnkey solution into use.
