WDP is building the largest logistics distribution centre in Belgium of approximately 150.000 m² for X²O Badkamers, Overstock Home & Overstock Garden, with the assistance of JLL.
JLL assisted WDP in the leasing transaction with retailers X²O Badkamers, Overstock Home & Overstock Garden in the multimodal logistics park WDPort of Ghent. The distribution centre is realised via a joint venture partnership between WDP and the shareholders of these retailers.

The immediate proximity of the railway, the container terminal and the E34-E17-E40 motorways guarantees multimodal access to Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Germany. The tri-modal nature of the site (water, road and rail) allows users to optimise their supply chain in a sustainable way and to develop further international expansion.
WDP has started developing the site in the spring of 2021 and the delivery of this XXL project will be phased over a period of approximately eighteen months.
