Brussels, December 4, 2024 - JLL BeLux is pleased to announce its official move into its new headquarters located at 10 Rue Montoyer in Brussels. This relocation marks a return to roots for the company, which is reinvesting in a building it occupied a few years ago, now fully redeveloped according to the strictest eco-responsible standards.
The M10 building, certified BREEAM Outstanding and WELL Platinum, embodies excellence in sustainability and well-being. Notably, the building is carbon neutral, perfectly aligning with JLL's ambitions for decarbonization. Its innovative wooden structure, flexible spaces, and central location address current occupant challenges: ESG objectives, talent retention, brand visibility, and accessibility.
Sebastien Giordano, Country Lead of JLL BeLux, states: "Our return to Montoyer 10 symbolizes our bold vision for the sector's future and our commitment to circularity by choosing a regenerated building. By reinventing workspaces as catalysts for performance, we are empowering ourselves to achieve our ambitions while setting new benchmarks for the industry. This project embodies our vision: maximizing sustainable and responsible value creation through collaborative innovation."
JLL BeLux redefines sustainable real estate with its new headquarters. Incorporating up to 80% reused materials for partitions and coverings, it embodies the circular economy. By aiming for WELL Platinum certification, JLL reaffirms its priority for employee well-being. This innovative project positions the company at the forefront of the sector, merging environmental excellence and professional fulfillment in an exemplary workspace.
This BeLux project exemplifies a collaborative innovation approach by merging the expertise of teams from Brussels, Antwerp, and Luxembourg. From ideation to realization, each step illustrates remarkable interdepartmental (and cross-border) synergy. The resulting space, fruit of pioneering collective intelligence, embodies the shared aspirations of all JLL BeLux employees, strengthening organizational cohesion and performance.
To promote collaboration between different departments and offer a variety of spaces adapted to different work modes, the two floors have been connected by an open internal staircase. Amandine Chizelle, Head of Tétris BeLux adds: "We have created a dynamic environment where each space has a specific purpose and offers different experiences, from collaborative areas to quieter spaces for focused work. By co-designing with our teams and mapping workplace journeys, we have designed a space that truly meets the needs of all our employees, as well as multiple experiences for our clients and partners. Moreover, technology is at the heart of our new layouts, with immersive screens and meeting rooms equipped to optimize hybrid meetings. These innovations underscore our vision of an innovative work environment centered on user experience."
A surprising feature of the project is the occupation of the ground floor. Sebastien Giordano explains: "This approach embodies a desire for transparency perfectly in line with our values of openness. It's a real change in perspective, an invitation to exchange and interaction. By choosing a street-facing location, we have innovated to maximize value creation where it is often a challenge."
The return to Montoyer 10 symbolizes our bold vision for the future of work and corporate real estate. This innovative project embodies our expansion strategy and our commitment to maximizing sustainable value creation through collaborative innovation. By rethinking professional spaces, JLL BeLux is paving the way towards a future where performance, sustainability, and well-being harmoniously align.
